My story
From Burned Out to Boldly Whole!
I know what it’s like to be the one everyone depends on—at work, at home, in life. I spent years in the military, rising through the ranks, leading others, protecting my people, and getting things done. I wore the “strong Black woman” title like armor… until that armor got too damn heavy.

Beneath the rank and routine, I was tired.
And maybe that’s where you are, too.
A Breaking Point Becomes a Breakthrough
My real transformation didn’t happen in a uniform. It happened when I looked in the mirror and realized that I had built a life that served everyone but me. The peace I gave to others, I never gave myself. The boundaries I enforced for others, I never held for me.
That realization led me to do the work—deep, personal, unfiltered work and if I'm being honest--I'm still doing the work.
I studied trauma, boundaries, burnout, and wellness. I applied everything I learned to my own life first. I tested it. Lived it. Screwed it up. Tried again. I built what I now call The S.H.I.F.T. System™.
Tired of overgiving. Tired of proving. Tired of pretending I was okay.

“I had to unlearn being everything for everybody. Now I help women like me finally become everything for themselves.”
I Get You Because I Am You
You’ve probably been called strong your whole life. Maybe you’re the first one people call when stuff hits the fan. You’re smart. Capable. Kind. But somewhere along the way, you forgot yourself.
I HELP WOMEN LIKE YOU:
Set boundaries that protect your peace
Reconnect with your identity beyond titles and roles
Break free from burnout, guilt, and people-pleasing
Stop surviving and start thriving—for real this time
I don’t teach theory. I teach lived experience, real tools, and soul-deep healing.

This Work Is My Calling
Today, I run Candice Roshell & Co.—a space where overextended, heart-centered women finally get to take a breath. Whether through my course, retreats, or 1:1 coaching, I guide women back to themselves, one powerful “no” and one peaceful “yes” at a time.
You were never meant to carry the world. You were meant to live in it—fully, freely, and on your own terms.
